Named Drought Drops, the product is an inspired take on the brand's hero Intimate Glide.
Kacey Musgraves and Medicine Mama are partnering to launch a limited-edition product in the intimate care category.
Inspired by the country artist’s new hit song, “Dry Spell,” the physician-led wellness brand, which specializes in OB-GYN-approved and clinically tested innovations in female hygiene and pleasure, is introducing “Drought Drops.” A new take on its bestselling lubricant, Intimate Glide, Drought Drops, $24.99, houses the same formula in special-edition packaging, featuring cursive branding, flirty graphics and a separate sticker sheet. Shoppers can purchase the product now until supplies last on medicinemama.com and kaceymusgraves.com.

In a statement shared exclusively with WWD, Musgraves said: “Drought Drops is a cheeky little wink to my song, combined with a great product from Medicine Mama. Hopefully it keeps the dry spells away and the good times coming.”

The Grammy-winning artist released “Dry Spell” back in March, a few months before her seventh studio album, “Middle of Nowhere,” dropped. A folksy ballad, the song explores the raw and very real experience of a “self-respectin’ girl” who’s craving intimacy but isn’t sure how to seek it out.
Her candid, lighthearted approach as a storyteller and songwriter is what drew Medicine Mama to her. “We’ve always believed intimate care deserves the same openness, care and attention as every other part of our health and belongs in our daily routines. Kacey has a unique ability to make deeply personal conversations feel universal, bringing honesty, humility and even a little humor to topics that are often left unsaid. Those same values have been at the heart of Medicine Mama since Day One,” Dr. Clare Bertucio, chief executive officer and founding chief medical officer of Medicine Mama, said in an official statement. “Together, we’re helping make intimate wellness feel less stigmatized, more approachable and maybe even a little more fun. We couldn’t imagine a better partner for this collaboration.”
Medicine Mama and Musgraves aren’t the only ones teaming up to make sexual wellness and female pleasure taboo no more. In fact, Kourtney Kardashian-Barker’s supplement brand tapped Julia Fox last year for the launch of their libido-boosting gummy, Lemme Play . The creative saw Fox dial Kardashian-Barker’s number in the bathtub after she receives the cherry-flavored chewable, featuring ingredients such as superfood complex S7 nitric oxide complex, horny goat weed and maca root.
A few months later, Harry Styles doubled down on the pleasure category. His brand, Pleasing , launched two new products, the Pleasing double-sided vibrator and the Pleasing lube, priced at $68 and $25, respectively, under a subsidiary line called Pleasing Yourself. In addition, the brand, which was founded in 2021, collaborated with Planned Parenthood Federation of America to release a series of educational videos about sexual health as well as special-edition condoms with the tag line, “I’m for Planned Parenthood.”
WWD also previously reported on the growth of the category on same-day delivery platforms such as DoorDash and Gopuff, with devices, lubricants, condoms and emergency contraception among the most in-demand products.
