The 3 Biggest Surprises From StockX’s Midyear Resale Report
An in-depth look at the fastest-growing sneaker brands and trends so far this year.
As we venture further into the second half of 2026, StockX is looking back with on the year’s biggest movers with its latest midyear data report.
The Detroit-based company’s Big Facts: Brands Making Moves report was released Wednesday and outlines the platform’s fastest-growing labels in comparison to the same time period last year. Sales from January through June 2026 are included, painting a clear picture of what’s dominating the resale market so far this year.
As usual, the report is packed with a trove of valuable data and insights, but these were the key aspects that stuck out.

While it may have yet to translate into measurable earnings for VF Corp , the Vans comeback can be clearly seen on StockX . The skate label’s various designer-inspired styles, pearlized pairs and collaborations with labels like Satoshi Nakamoto have helped propel it to not only a major mover, but one of the most lucrative labels for resellers .
During the first half of ’26, Vans trades on StockX grew 238 percent compared to the first half of ’25, putting it just one percent below the marketplace’s largest grower, Saucony . But that may not even be the most impressive piece of data, as the average resale price premium increased from +12 percent to +69 percent, making it the biggest premium growth of any brand in StockX’s rankings.
“I think that there’s certainly something there for Vans,” Brendan Dunne, StockX’s senior director of customer community and engagement, tells FN. “And I think that if they make the right moves, they can make these niche sneakers more mass and popular, but I would say it’s early in the life cycle for that.”
Saucony picked up some serious credibility with sneaker enthusiasts following its 2022 partnership with designer Jae Tips. And while Jae Tips has since moved on to Nike , it looks like Saucony is still enjoying some of the fruits of their collaboration.
Saucony’s StockX sales more than tripled year-over-year, increasing 239 percent to make it the top-growing brand so far in ’26. The platform attributes this largely to the ProGrid Omni 9 and ProGrid Triumph 4 models.
“I think that the shopper who wants an Asics Kayano would also want a Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 or ProGrid Triumph 4. So I do think that they are still on trend and that there is a lot of that market that they can grab, and I think that’s part of what’s happening here,” Dunne said.
Despite some recent analyst talks that Jordan Brand is seeing a slowdown , StockX’s data paints a different picture. The Nike, Inc. owned-and-operated label landed at No. 9 on the fastest-growing sneaker brands, up six percent from ’25.
As the Detroit-based company points out, Jordan is the second largest sneaker brand on the platform, so a six percent jump actually equates to an increase tens of thousands of sales.
And while some recently released Air Jordans can be found on StockX for less than their original retail price, the bigger picture is that resale values on the whole are actually increasing, as average prices increased 5 percent from this period in ’25.
